living_the_dream_after_50 Last night I visited thebacklanetavern in Woodstock with brandpayofficial. The Back Lane Tavern is the big brother of ox_two_ in Summertown. It’s a pub, wine bar, restaurant and has a great outdoor space too. A similar concept to OXTWO where you get to choose from delicious tapas style small and sharing plates from around the globe 🌍 The Back Lane Tavern was voted best Gastro Pub at the Oxinabox Oxfordshire food awards in 2025. 2 AA rosettes were awarded in 2024 and 2025 🙌🏻 Last night I ate Burrata di bufala, chargrilled peaches 🍑, with roasted figs and cherries🍒 It was insanely delicious. A watermelon 🍉 feta, cucumber salad 🥒 with pine nuts and grape mustard dressing 👌 And for me the absolute must try dish, the Korean chicken wings 🐓 with a ranch dip 🤤 You definitely need to book.
