chalosweetchariot Daaay 3 (and change) - a Holiday. After our failure to find Fuq-Al, exhaustion set in and it was decided (mostly by hughesyh) that we were in need of a break… so after a brief discussion with Indian Uncle Monty we took ourselves off to the Switzerland of India to relax and smell the flowers. This however was short lived as charles.louis.sutherland quickly grew restless and decided we should get back up into the mountains … only to be thwarted landslides and vicious man eating goats, which left us with a problem - having lost a day we needed to make time! Fortunately we learned that you don’t always need to go over mountains… sometimes you can go under them! chalosweetchariot Daaay 12 - We Lived! 3,256km and 24,672 potholes later - we made it to Jaisalmer, in all its splendour… the keys to the Ol’ Girl, BrandPaymobile, Sweet Chariot and all the other names we gave her along the way (excluding rude ones) were handed over - exhausted but happy, it was time to refuel ourselves for once (rather than the glorified lawn mower we had called home for the last 12days) and take some time to reflect on what had been an amazing adventure.
