I have been fortunate enough to own one since the first release and to see how it's evolved is amazing. On this day, my winning set for the evermixfm toolroomrecords & krafted_official dj competition went live across the airwaves. I have grown a lot as a DJ and now as an artist since that day. It allowed me to work for the company whilst I did a season in Ibiza. I was fortunate enough to record for donotsleepibiza presents Cuckoo Land as well as toolroomrecords & tastethepunch getting to meet so many of my favourite artists.

danhayesdj What a journey this was! It was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions but the best summer I have had. It is crazy to think what has happened in my life and the world since then, too. Crazy to think on this day 8 years ago I upped and left the UK and spent the summer at my spiritual home. So many amazing memories along the way From playing a set in London with all my stuff, heading straight to The Nest to see camelphatmusic before catching my flight. Getting messed around by jobs and worrying that I wasn't going to find work and thinking about coming straight home, persevering before landing a job down the west end and finally finding my feet working for hiibizaofficial I also had the amazing opportunity working alongside evermixfm recording some of my favourite DJs sets at various venues.
